Collection: Larimar

Larimar is a rare blue variety of the mineral pectolite, loved for its soft sky-blue, aqua, and white marbled patterns that often look like sunlight moving across Caribbean water.

Lairmar I mined almost exclusively in the Dominican Republic, where it forms in cavities within volcanic rock.  Miners extract the rough stone, which is sorted, cut into cabochons or other shapes, polished to bring out its distinctive blue-and - white pattern.  Because its color and pattern vary naturally, every piece of Larimar had its on unique look.
